About Stefan

Stefan Case is a senior associate who assists clients with complex commercial litigation across a range of areas and industries. A central part of his practice involves tort law and product liability litigation, where he represents clients in individual actions, mass tort claims and class actions. He has broad cross-jurisdictional experience defending claims in multiple provinces across Canada, and also handles commercial contract disputes, advising on contractual interpretation and enforcement in addition to litigating breach of contract claims. Stefan's practice further extends to intellectual property matters, judicial review and administrative matters, and complex commercial arbitration. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. During law school he competed in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot, was named best oral advocate, and his team won the Fox Cup before going on to place second at the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot. He volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and continues to volunteer at the Pro Bono Hotline, and he is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.
