About Spencer

Spencer Daniel is a Bennett Jones LLP associate with a corporate commercial and securities law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, shareholder arrangements, corporate reorganizations, and corporate finance. He acts for targets and acquirors in domestic and cross-border transactions and advises public companies on disclosure, corporate governance, and securities law obligations. Spencer completed his JD at Western Law, where he worked as a research assistant to Professor Richard H. McLaren, and before law school he was a consultant at Navigator Ltd. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where he captained the NCAA Division 1 men's varsity lacrosse team. Before becoming an associate, Spencer summered and articled at the firm, including a secondment to Volkswagen Group Canada.
