About Simran
Simran Prihar is a labour lawyer and partner in Goldblatt Partners' Toronto office who represents trade unions before arbitrators and administrative tribunals, including in human rights proceedings. She advises unions on collective bargaining, interest arbitration, and pay equity disputes. After starting her career at the firm, Simran left private practice to serve as in-house counsel for a large private-sector union and later for one of Ontario's largest healthcare unions, where she handled complex litigation and bargaining while also setting strategic priorities and managing an in-house litigation team. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2009 after articling with the firm, and holds a law degree along with a master's in industrial relations from Queen's University, where she now serves as an adjunct professor teaching labour law.
