About Simon

Simon Cameron is counsel at Weintraub Huang LLP, maintaining a broad commercial litigation practice covering contract and shareholder disputes, securities litigation and regulatory proceedings, and construction, franchise and environmental matters. He has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, and at the Supreme Court of Canada, including as counsel to the successful respondent in Keatley Surveying Ltd v Teranet Inc., a leading case on Crown copyright. Simon also acted as counsel to interveners in Bent v Platnick and 1704604 Ontario Ltd v Pointes Protection Association, the first Supreme Court cases to consider Ontario's anti-SLAPP legislation. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2018 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Advocates' Society, and he was named to the Pro Bono Ontario Honour Roll in 2022.
