About Mark

Mark Braidwood is a partner at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP in the Construction and Infrastructure, Commercial and Business Litigation, and Insurance practice groups. His work focuses on dispute resolution, particularly construction claims involving delay and performance issues, and he acts for owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in matters spanning multiple jurisdictions. He also carries a broad commercial litigation practice covering shareholder and partnership disputes, director and officer liability, contract disputes and leasing matters. Mark advises professionals such as engineers, architects, insurance agents and private healthcare providers, and regularly appears in arbitrations, mediations and WorkSafeBC investigations. He has tried cases and argued appeals at every level of the British Columbia courts. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 1997 and the Yukon bar in 2025, holding an LLB from the University of Kent and a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
