About Margot
Margot Lorayes has been a partner at Cassady Law LLP since January 2024, with a practice focused on real estate law, corporate and commercial matters, estate and incapacity planning, and estate administration. She assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial loans, asset and share purchase agreements, corporate reorganizations, commercial leases, wills, powers of attorney, and committeeship applications. She earned her law degree from UBC in 2006, was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007, and joined Cassady in December 2007 after several years working in the financial industry. She speaks Tagalog fluently, served for five years on the Board of Directors of the West Coast Domestic Workers' Association, and has participated in the Lawyer Referral Service since 2008.
