About Aneez

Aneez Devji is Richards Buell Sutton's managing partner and specializes in commercial real estate transactions, advising private developers, land owners, banks, and institutional clients on acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing, partnerships, joint ventures, and land development. He chairs the firm's Advanced Education and Research Group with particular expertise in real estate matters for advanced educational institutions, and has contributed to continuing legal education materials on conveyancing. He holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia (2011) and a B.B.A. in Finance from Simon Fraser University (2008), and was called to the bar in 2012. He is a Chambers-ranked lawyer and was recognized by Best Lawyers in Commercial Leasing and Real Estate Law for 2025-2026.
