About Alex

Alex Eged leads Richards Buell Sutton's litigation team focused on insurance, construction, and corporate commercial litigation, including arbitration and mediation. With over 30 years of litigation experience, he has conducted more than 300 trials and previously served as Crown Counsel for the Attorney General of B.C. He is a faculty member of Continuing Legal Education of British Columbia and an instructor for the Professional Legal Training Course, UBC Law School programs, and moot court judging. He holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall (1992) and a B.A. from Brock University (1989), and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1993. He was recognized by Best Lawyers for Insurance Law in 2025-2026.
