About Shehu

Shehu Mustafa's practice spans litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and employment law, working with clients on commercial and business litigation matters. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Small Claims Court, and previously practiced litigation and alternative dispute resolution extensively in Nigeria. He has also worked at law firms in Singapore and London and at the Southern Africa Litigation Centre, a human rights NGO in Johannesburg. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, and the Nigerian Bar Association, and volunteers with the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia, the Halifax Free Legal Clinic, and the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. He earned his LL.B. from Ambrose Alli University and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2007 and the Nova Scotia bar in 2022.
