About Meaghan

Meaghan McCaw is a partner at Stewart McKelvey, based in the firm's Fredericton office with a practice centred in Newfoundland and Labrador. She has a civil litigation practice focused on health law, privacy and access to information, and life and disability insurance, defending healthcare organizations and professionals in medical malpractice claims. McCaw advises public bodies and private entities on compliance with privacy and access to information legislation, including responses to breaches and information requests, and her class actions practice has focused on complex privacy breach claims. She has appeared at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal. McCaw holds a JD from the University of New Brunswick (2013) and a Bachelor of Music from Memorial University (2009), and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2014 and Newfoundland and Labrador in 2015.
