Admission to the Alberta bar came in 2016, with British Columbia following a year later. Since then Basil has stood up as counsel in the provincial courts of both provinces, in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and in Alberta's Court of Queen's Bench. There's criminal court experience too, and real estate deals sit alongside the courtroom work.

Saskatchewan is where Basil was born, but Alberta is home, and it's where most of those years have been spent. A political science graduate of the University of Alberta, Basil then earned a law degree at Bond University. Away from work you might find Basil trying a newly opened restaurant or café with family and friends, out on a bike, reading a book, or keeping up with what's new in tech.
