About Shane
Shane McLean is the Managing Partner of LaBarge Weinstein LLP, where he has worked since 2000 helping companies of every size through the stages of their business lifecycle. His clients range from technology startups and venture capital investors to lenders and publicly listed companies across Canada and abroad. He advises on incorporation, day-to-day corporate matters, public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, stock exchange compliance, and corporate governance, and has led hundreds of financings and M&A deals representing billions in transaction value. Shane was called to the Ontario bar in 2002 and holds an LLB from the University of Ottawa. He is a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law, a designation held by fewer than 30 lawyers in the province, and Lexpert named him a Rising Star in 2013.
