About Debbie
Debbie Weinstein co-founded LaBarge Weinstein in 1997 after spending her first 12 years in practice at two of Canada's largest law firms, including a stint as managing partner of the Ottawa office. She and her colleagues built the firm around providing pragmatic, efficient business law advice to transactional clients. Debbie has taken the lead role on close to 200 mergers and acquisitions, including sales of companies to Cisco, Ericsson, Microsoft, Blackberry, and Salesforce.com. She currently sits on the boards of Opentext Corporation and Dynex Power Inc., as well as the Institute for Mental Health Research, Ashbury College, and Pallium Canada. Debbie was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985 and holds her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School.
