About Sean

Sean N. Zeitz is Co-Managing Director of the firm, practising commercial and civil litigation with an emphasis on bankruptcy and insolvency, debtor-creditor disputes, receiverships, proposals, and security enforcement. He has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, and the Commercial List and Bankruptcy courts, since joining the firm in 2004. He acts as counsel to LawPRO, the insurer for Ontario lawyers, and represents financial institutions, creditors, debtors, trustees, and receivers. He holds a rare dual certification from the Law Society of Ontario, recognized as a specialist in civil litigation and separately in bankruptcy and insolvency law, and was called to the bar in 2005 after earning his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. He teaches a bankruptcy and insolvency course at the University of Toronto's Rotman Commerce program.
