About Sarah

Sarah Miller has a civil litigation practice focused on regulatory and administrative disputes, employment, shareholder, and constitutional matters, and has represented clients before the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and numerous tribunals. She previously worked in criminal prosecutions and in-house with a public institution and a large energy company before joining JSS Barristers as an Associate in 2019. Sarah earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, and articled at a global law firm in Calgary. She volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance, Student Legal Assistance, and Pro Bono Law Alberta's Civil Claims Duty Counsel and Queen's Bench Amicus programs, and served on the Canadian Bar Association's Federal Courts Bench and Bar Liaison Committee from 2022 to 2024.
