Employment & Labour LawSarah is an immigration lawyer in Halifax who specializes in immigration and employment law. She advises corporations seeking labour market impact assessments and strategies to hire temporary foreign workers, as well as individuals pursuing visas, study permits, work permits and permanent residency. She has extensive experience obtaining work permits under the International Mobility Program and under agreements such as CETA, CUSMA and GATS. Sarah also practises employment law, covering hiring, discipline, termination, wrongful dismissal, and human rights and workplace accommodation matters, and is certified by the Workplace Institute in workplace investigations. She serves as Honorary Consul of Sweden in Halifax and sits on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth and the Board of Governors of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Sarah holds a J.D. from Dalhousie University and a B.A. from St. Francis Xavier University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2013.
