About Nicholas

Nicholas (Nick) Ouellette is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick after completing an honours degree in computer science, and was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2010 following an articling term with the firm. Before practising law, Nick worked as a government policy advisor, political executive assistant and legislative chief of staff, experience he draws on to help clients navigate complex issues. His practice focuses on financing transactions, private equity investments and corporate reorganizations, and he advises on general corporate and governance matters, intellectual property and energy and natural resources files as a registered Canadian trademark agent. He is recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in corporate commercial law, banking and financial institutions, and corporate finance and securities.
