Sarah Lag is an associate at Black & Associates who practices civil litigation in both of Canada's official languages. She graduated magna cum laude from the dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration program at the University of Ottawa in 2018 and was called to the Bar in 2019. During law school she represented low-income clients at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where she served as a division leader for its community and legal education outreach division, and she represented the University of Ottawa at the Charles Rousseau International Law Moot Court Competition in Benin in 2017. Before joining Black & Associates, she practiced at a small Ottawa firm, representing individual and corporate clients on complex litigation files involving municipal law, defamation, corporate commercial litigation, and employment law. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours with Distinction in Biochemistry from Concordia University and is a member of the Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
