About Hamish
Hamish Mills-McEwan is a lawyer at Nelligan Law who works for insurers on litigation files and also represents injured plaintiffs seeking compensation. Originally from the United Kingdom, he completed his law degree at Queen's University, where he received an award for the highest standing in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Principles of Financial Regulation, and reached the 2017 Sopinka Cup trial advocacy competition after placing second in the 2017 Arnup Cup. Before joining Nelligan Law, he articled at a regional full-service firm and then practised plaintiff personal injury law at a litigation boutique. Mills-McEwan has appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the License Appeal Tribunal, and co-hosts the podcast Civil Banter with Stanford Cummings.
