About Samantha
Samantha Iturregui's insurance defence practice covers motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, property, major flood, and fire claims; over seventeen years of practice she has built a reputation among insurers for sound judgment and is frequently mandated to negotiate settlements. She also provides coverage opinions, acts on subrogated claims for insurers, and handles mortgage enforcements for financial institutions. Since 2019 she has served as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court, and in 2018 she was recognized as one of Ottawa's Top Forty Under 40. She has appeared before the Small Claims Court, Provincial Offences Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and, in 2012, the Supreme Court of Canada. Samantha is bilingual in English and French. She earned her LL.B. (cum laude) and B.A. (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa.
