About Saad

Saad Patel is an associate in Richards Buell Sutton's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, with a broad civil and commercial litigation practice including construction law, builders liens, and insurance defence. He has represented clients in contested matters at all levels of court in British Columbia, from summary trial judgments to a 27-day trial as co-counsel. At Thompson Rivers University, Saad ranked in the top 10% of his first-year class, served as a teaching assistant for property law, and was active on the executive of the Pan-Asian Law Students Society. Before law school he worked in the regional management office of a multinational soft-drink company. He received his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in 2023 and a B.A. from the University of British Columbia in 2019, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024.
