About Maren

Maren Tergesen joined Meridian Law Group in July 2025 as an articled student and subsequently joined the firm as a full-time lawyer, focusing on insurance law and commercial litigation disputes. She graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law with a specialization in Indigenous Legal Studies, having worked as a legal research assistant in housing policy and tenancy law, served as president of Legal Education Outreach, volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, and completed temporary articles at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic. Before law school, Maren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UBC and worked as a research assistant in social science research.
