Wayne has been with Dutton Brock since 1979 and holds a Law Society of Ontario certification as a specialist in civil litigation. His defence work spans commercial general liability, personal injury, medical negligence, product liability matters involving medical devices, historical sexual abuse claims, defamation, professional negligence, and directors and officers liability. He has defended class actions concerning consumer products, medical devices, contaminated food, and securities claims, and has taken well over 100 cases to trial. Wayne also serves as an agent for the federal Department of Justice, defending claims on behalf of agencies including the RCMP, CRA, Correctional Service Canada, and Immigration. He is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario bar in 1981. Both Lexpert and Who's Who Legal have recognized his work in commercial litigation and in insurance and reinsurance law.
