Ryan Newell is a partner at Goldblatt Partners who represents trade unions across a wide range of industries. He advises unions as they organize new workplaces, negotiate collective agreements, and enforce existing ones, and he has appeared before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Grievance Settlement Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal, as well as in grievance arbitration. His cases include certifying a homeless shelter, defending against a decertification application, getting a terminated employee reinstated, and forcing an employer to accommodate a disabled worker. He also represents individual employees who have been terminated without cause. Ryan's practice covers construction, labour relations, and employment law.
