About Steven Wilder

People hurt in accidents across Southwestern Ontario are the clients Steven Wilder works for. As a partner in the Windsor office of Diamond & Diamond Lawyers, Steven's focus is getting injured clients the medical care they need and the compensation they're owed.

Steven is a University of Windsor graduate twice over. An undergraduate program in political science, history and philosophy came first, then a Bachelor of Laws in 2009, and Steven was called to the Ontario bar a year later. When Diamond & Diamond opened its new Windsor office in 2015, Steven joined the firm with it, and made partner in 2023. Steven has also worked for the Town of Lakeshore, both as an employee and as an intern.

That connection to Lakeshore runs deep. Ward 1 voters elected Steven to council in October 2014 and returned Steven for a second term in October 2018, which ran to 2022. Steven chose not to seek re-election that year, stepping back from elected office mainly to have more time with family. Local politics hasn't gone away, though: Steven now co-hosts a local TV show on political news and issues in Windsor-Essex County.

Steven is active in the local bar too, with a seat on the Essex Law Association's board as County Director, and gives time to a long list of Windsor-Essex charities and causes. Back in 2018, alongside council and law, Steven was also a competition gardener.
