About Rory

Rory holds a fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers and maintains a litigation and administrative law practice that takes in corporate and securities litigation, professional liability, directors' and officers' claims, shareholder disputes, and construction litigation. The client roster he has served spans public and private companies, governments, liability insurers, banks, architects, and engineers. His files have included professional liability litigation, corporate and securities disputes, inquiries under the Nova Scotia Fatality Inquiry Act, and administrative matters such as professional discipline and immigration law. Rory received his LLB from Dalhousie University in 1988, an MA from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 1985, and a BA (honours) from Queen's University in 1983. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1990 and holds the King's Counsel designation, awarded in 2011.
