About Ronald

Ronald (Ron) E. Pizzo is a labour and employment lawyer, facilitator, and mediator with over 35 years of experience resolving workplace disputes. He advises on grants such as the Federal Bill C-65 Workplace Harassment and Violence grant, working with organizational psychologists to design and train dispute resolution programs, and writes on conflict resolution and trauma-informed dispute resolution. He is often retained to work with organizations, leaders, and teams in conflict after other dispute resolution measures have failed, across private industry, professional organizations, non-profits, and government. He has been peer-ranked in Best Lawyers in Canada for Labour and Employment Law since 2015 and holds advanced certification in Transformative Mediation from the Institute of Conflict Transformation, along with certifications as a Certified Coach and in ADR from Stitt Feld Handy. He is past President of the ADR Atlantic Institute and a member of the International Coaching Federation's Atlantic Chapter. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1987.
