About Ron

Ron Prehogan combines legal work at Brazeau Seller Law with consulting work at its affiliate, Equitas Consultants Inc. His legal practice focuses on commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses and properties, and he has represented both buyers and sellers in some of Ottawa's largest private transactions. As part of the firm's CannaLaw group he acts as senior counsel on structuring and financing cannabis businesses and on purchase and sale transactions. Ron also focuses on transitioning family businesses through facilitated discussions and governance structures, and is a Certified Family Business Facilitator with Family Enterprise Xchange. He has chaired the boards of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, currently chairs the board of Kind Canada Genereux, and co-chairs the capital campaign for Congregation Machzikei Hadas.
