About Richard

Richard Wong has more than 25 years of experience in project development across sectors including energy, technology, infrastructure, transportation, defence and critical minerals. He advises owners, engineers and contractors on procurement and contractual matters for large capital projects in Canada and abroad. Richard has led negotiations on collaborative contracting models, including integrated project delivery and progressive design-build arrangements, for complex infrastructure work. He chairs a construction contracts committee with the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and previously led an international construction division within the American Bar Association's construction law forum. Richard also sits on the board of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association.
