About Liam
Liam McNeely is a senior associate who represents individuals and corporations in commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, director and officer liability claims, partnership breaches, oppression matters, and fraud, along with professional negligence claims against accountants, investment advisors, and real estate professionals. He also leads the firm's employment practice, litigating disputes for both employers and employees before the Superior Court, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal, with submissions up to the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. Since 2024 he has served on the Canadian Bar Association's Civil Litigation section executive, co-chairing a 2025 working group that responded to Ontario's Civil Rules Review reforms. The Toronto Lawyers' Association has certified him in its Advanced Skills for Civil Litigation program. Liam holds a BA from Carleton University and a JD from Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2017.
