About Richard

Richard (Rick) Rhodes practises business law, particularly corporate commercial law, and real estate law. He acts for many closely held companies, providing the full range of solicitor's services for running a business, including incorporations, shareholders' agreements, corporate reorganizations, financings, and business purchases and sales. In real estate he assists with large and small developments, including bare land and strata subdivisions, and prepares leases, purchase contracts, disclosure statements, mortgages, options to purchase, easements, and covenants. A graduate of the UBC Law School, he has practised with Ramsay Lampman Rhodes since 1983, became a partner in 1988, and is currently associate counsel with the firm.
