About Samuel
Sam Poyner maintains a broad solicitor's practice in real estate, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial law. He represents both buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions and advises developers throughout Nanaimo and the surrounding region on strata developments and residential subdivisions. His wills and estates work includes estate and incapacity planning, drafting wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, and helping executors through the probate process. His corporate and commercial practice supports small business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs with incorporations, corporate records, and commercial contracts. He grew up on Vancouver's north shore, earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and completed his law degree at Bond University in Australia in 2008, articling with a boutique litigation firm in North Vancouver before being called to the British Columbia bar in 2011. He relocated to Nanaimo in 2016 and volunteers as a youth sports coach in the community.
