Rebecca Wise is a partner at Torys LLP with a dual practice in corporate investigations and complex employment law. She is regularly retained to lead investigations and advise on sensitive internal matters, working with boards and senior management on whistleblower complaints, regulatory issues and allegations of fraud, conflicts of interest or discrimination. Her experience includes large scale, multi-party and cross-border investigations, and she helps clients design whistleblower frameworks and investigation protocols. Wise also advises on employment matters such as hiring practices, human rights, terminations, restrictive covenants and workplace safety, and is often engaged on sensitive executive transitions and corporate transactions. She belongs to the Association of Workplace Investigators and the Women's White Collar Defense Association.
