About Rebecca
Rebecca Jones became an associate at Ryder Wright in 2021, having previously articled at the Ontario government's Constitutional Law Branch and completed a clerkship with a bilingual judge on the Federal Court of Appeal. While at McGill University's law program, she pursued her interest in advocacy and access to justice through clinical placements with the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations and the Yukon Human Rights Commission, and was named a top ten oralist at the 2018 Wilson Moot. She also worked as a research assistant studying equality rights and systemic discrimination, and later earned a B.A. & Sc. in Psychology and International Development at McGill, which included an internship in southern India examining farmers' barriers to a sustainable livelihood. She was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2020.
