About Rebecca
Rebecca Brown Greer is a partner at Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP who was called to the bar in 2012 after earning a B.A. (Hons.) in psychology from Queen's University and a J.D., with Dean's Honour List standing, from the University of Western Ontario. She articled and practised for years at a boutique insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto before joining the firm, and now handles a broad tort and accident benefits practice, covering claims that run from first party to third party, insurer disputes over priority and loss transfer, WSIB appeals, occupier's liability, and both construction and professional negligence matters. She has appeared before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and co-chairs the firm's Licence Appeal Tribunal, Appellate Advocacy, and Catastrophic Loss practice groups. She received the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize in her final year of law school.
