About Raveena
Raveena Walia is an associate at Baker Newby LLP practising family law and civil litigation. Born and raised in Chilliwack, BC, she graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2023. During law school she was a student member of the Faculty of Law's English Program Assembly and a student mentor with the Allies in Law Mentorship Program. She joined Baker Newby's litigation department after her call to the British Columbia bar in May 2024, and sits on the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
