About Ranjan

Ranjan Das has been a partner at BYLDS since 1997, practising commercial and civil litigation with particular experience in land-based disputes, injunctions, professional liability, shareholder and contract disputes, and oppression remedy claims. He appears regularly on the Commercial List and has substantial experience before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, along with numerous mediations and other dispute resolution processes. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University in 1990 and graduated cum laude with his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 1993. He was called to the bar in 1995 and later completed a Master of Laws in financial services and banking law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1996.
