About Steven

A partner in the firm's Toronto office practising advocacy, Steven Sofer has been actively involved in securities matters and class actions for over 20 years. He has prosecuted cases for the Ontario Securities Commission involving insider trading and broker/dealer misconduct and has taught securities commission staff in these areas. He has coordinated internal investigations and responses to regulatory inquiries and has acted for regulators and registrants before regulators.
