He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with several academic awards and research positions before articling at a Toronto civil litigation boutique, where he had the opportunity to represent Indigenous peoples and governments in inter-governmental negotiations and disputes over government accountability. His practice includes negligence claims, property transaction disputes, commercial leasing conflicts, human rights matters, Constitutional and Charter litigation, and estates litigation, along with an interest in international, policing, administrative and Aboriginal law. He holds a BA from York University and a JD from Osgoode, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025.
