About Alexandra

Alex is a commercial litigator whose practice centres on commercial leasing disputes, defending lawyers against errors and omissions claims, particularly in leasing and franchise transactions, along with other business and real estate disputes. She is preferred counsel with LawPro and is regularly consulted on errors and omissions defence and rectification work. Alex leads BYLDS's commercial leasing litigation team and advises landlord clients on a wide range of leasing issues. She has spoken and written on commercial lease disputes for organizations including the Canadian Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centres, and contributes to a Canadian commercial landlords' remedies publication. Alex holds an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. from York University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1995.
