About Daniel

Daniel Cohen is an associate at BYLDS who focuses on commercial and civil litigation. He represents individuals, businesses, and institutional clients in disputes involving shareholders, professional negligence, and residential and commercial leasing, among other contractual matters. Before joining BYLDS, he practised commercial litigation at a well-known regional full-service firm. Daniel earned his B.A. from McGill University in 2017 and holds a joint J.D. from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, graduating in 2021. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society. Outside the office, he's a hockey fan who enjoys spending time with family and friends.
