About Phedely

Phedely Ariste is an associate in the firm's Ottawa office maintaining a broad practice with emphasis on professional liability, medical defence and commercial litigation. He is fluently bilingual and serves clients in both English and French. In professional liability, he acts for physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists and other health care professionals in regulatory proceedings and civil litigation. His commercial litigation practice includes individuals, corporations, public sector clients, telecommunications companies and not-for-profit organizations. He also leads sports investigations and advises on sports law matters. He received his law degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Common Law Section Dean's Award. He previously served as a senior editor of the Ottawa Law Review and on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Community Housing Foundation and the Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario.
