About Paul

Paul Braunovan is a trademark lawyer in the Intellectual Property Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, advising on trademark protection, licensing, domain name protection, prosecution and opposition matters. He achieved the highest standing in Canada on the Trademark Agents' Qualifying Examination in 2003 and received the Educational Foundation Prize from the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. Braunovan has represented clients in numerous trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board and in domain name dispute proceedings. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 2001, an M.A. in English from Carleton University in 1998, and a Graduate Certificate in International Intellectual Property Law from the University of Victoria (with study at Oxford University) in 2007.
