Insurance LawPaul W. Bender became a partner of Campbell Lea in 2017. His practice is focused on plaintiff-side tort claims, representing individuals in disputes over motor vehicle collisions, slip-and-falls, denied disability benefits, professional negligence, and bad-faith conduct by insurers. He has appeared at all levels of court in Prince Edward Island and served as an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy before practicing law. Paul earned a BA with honours from York University and a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2011, articling with Campbell Lea before becoming an associate and then a partner. He is a long-serving board member of PEI's Community Legal Information organization and a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association.
