About R.

R. Brendan Hubley, KC joined Campbell Lea in June 2017 and became a partner in January 2019. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1998 and was called to the bar in 1999, beginning his career prosecuting federal drug and fisheries matters before moving into criminal defence, civil litigation, and family law. From 2005 he served as a federal Crown prosecutor in Yellowknife, and in 2007 he opened his own firm focused on criminal defence, particularly matters involving Charter issues. Brendan has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of Prince Edward Island as well as courts in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, the Northwest Territories, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He works closely with Prince Edward Island Legal Aid as duty counsel and has served on the boards of the Community Legal Information Association and the Prince County Family Service Bureau.
