About Nicholas

Nick Mott is a Partner in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2007 after earning a BA Honours from the University of Durham in 1997 and an LLB from Dalhousie University in 2006. His practice has focused almost exclusively on secured and unsecured debt recovery, enforcement, and mortgage foreclosure, representing major lending institutions, private lenders, credit unions, and individuals. He has represented secured lenders in leading cases interpreting and enforcing rights under Nova Scotia's Land Registration Act, and he is a registered Trade-Mark Agent who works to protect clients' intellectual property rights. Earlier in his career, Nick gained international experience working in the insurance industry in England and Saudi Arabia.
