About Paul
Paul Tushinski is a senior partner and civil litigator at Dutton Brock who served as the firm's Managing Partner from 2002 to 2018. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1985 after graduating from the University of Windsor's law school on the Dean's Honour List, and he has held special calls to the bars of Nova Scotia and Nunavut. He has been certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Civil Litigation since 1995. Paul focuses his practice on defending insurers and self-insured corporations, handling claims involving products liability, professional liability, construction disputes, class proceedings, environmental matters, and complex insurance coverage issues. He has appeared at every level of court on matters including hospital liability and access to information cases, and has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases. He is a past president of the Toronto Lawyers Association and a founding member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
