About Mitchell
Mitchell Fournie is a partner whose litigation practice centers on corporate and commercial disputes, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving breach of contract, shareholder disagreements, professional negligence, fraud, defamation, and investment losses. He has argued cases at every level of court in Ontario and beyond, along with appearances before administrative tribunals and in private arbitrations. His employment law work includes advising businesses and executives on wrongful dismissal, severance, workplace investigations, and non-compete disputes. He also represents clients before the Capital Markets Tribunal, CIRO, and FSRA in regulatory and enforcement proceedings. Before joining the firm in 2018, he articled and worked as a judicial law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He earned his J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2017 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
