About Paul

Paul's practice focuses on corporate, corporate finance, and trust law, and he regularly advises national and international businesses on their Canadian operations. He advises institutions and private clients on trust structures and transnational trust companies, and has represented investment managers, pension managers, and financial institutions before the New Brunswick government and legislature. His work includes acting as general counsel for public pension plan investment managers, forming pooled investment funds, and handling ISDA agreements and collateral arrangements for various counterparties. Paul earned his LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 1987 and a BSc from the same university in 1984. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1988 and has chaired Stewart McKelvey's Partnership Board and the Law Foundation of New Brunswick. He has repeatedly been named Best Lawyers' Corporate Law and Banking and Finance Law "Lawyer of the Year" in Saint John.
