About Paul

Paul Grespan is a founding member of McCarter Grespan, established in 1987, where he focuses on transactional work and land development. His transactional practice covers mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, and intergenerational transfer planning, while his land development work spans cost sharing, subdivision, and the municipal agreements needed to develop freehold and condominium properties for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Paul also leads a team of lawyers and law clerks at the firm. As a business owner and land developer himself, he brings firsthand experience of the challenges his clients face. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1976 and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics in 1978, and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979.
